Philip James Farrell

Philip James Farrell, age 86, of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022. Philip was born in New York City on December 4, 1935 and married Julia Moran on August 11, 1962. He received an undergraduate degree in Sanitary Engineering and a Master’s in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College.

Philip is survived by his wife Julia Farrell, two sons Joe Farrell and Brendan Farrell, daughter-in-law Susan Farrell, and 4 grandkids including Elaine Farrell, Bryce Farrell, Jack Farrell, and Kate Farrell. He is preceded in death by his son John Farrell.

A visitation for Philip will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur immediately following from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A reception will occur immediately following at 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
