Paula Guajardo Castillo, born on January 25, 1922 in Los Fresnos, Texas to Hilario Guajardo and Demencia Ramos, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family and devoted caregiver, Gloria Lopez, on September 30, 2015.
Preceded in death by her husband, Jose T. Castillo, brothers Hilario Guajardo, Jr. Gabriel Galvan of League City, TX, Benito Guajardo of Pearland, TX, and sister, Consuelo Mendoza of Houston, TX, she is survived by her daughters, Lucinda Soto and Eva Castillo of Houston, TX, her sons Daniel (Rosa) Soto of Humble, TX, Adolfo Castillo and partner Shirley Flores, and Jose Luis Castillo of Houston, TX as well as 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members.
Her family would like to express their deep appreciation to her caregiver, Gloria Lopez, for her devotion in caring for their loved one with love, tenderness, and patience.
