One of the last messages I received from Pat was to let me know that God needed him somewhere else. He wrote: "I am unsure what He needs. Stay in close. We love you, so so." 
In my opinion, I believe that God needed a fresh face on the welcoming committee in Heaven.  Besides, who better to put there than Pat. He knows just about everybody, he can talk to anyone he comes in contact with and he knows something about everything! He was an amazing man and a good friend and I will miss him dearly. 
 Every day I look across the street and see Pat's black truck and remember how he used to race the engine when he came home to let Ziggy know he was safe. Well, I know the two of them have been reunited and are safe together. I look forward to the day we are all reunited pain and worry free.
Love you Pat, so so. 

Your humor was abundant.  You were blessed with a great family. You really had it all.  I imagine how it is up there with those who went before you..one big party. Because your that guy, so loved & will be missed. Godspeed patrick 💜,    rainey

Patrick was the best Father-in-Law to our son we could have wished for.  We spent many family gatherings with the Cunningham clan. We pray that Patrick felt welcomed with us as we did with him.  He will always be remembered as 'Popie' to all the grandchildren and always made sure to hug them all.   He always expressed his love for all of us.  We will truly miss him and feel blessed to have been part of his life.

Pat Cunningham is one of my favorite people. A friend and neighbor and a business associate Pat was always warm and caring and concerned for me and my well being. Open and honest and full of humor and wit and old country knowledge. He treated me, and, I assume, everyone with love and kindness. He welcomed me into his home and his heart and was always available when I needed advice and guidance. Mostly about country and hunting and fishing, but also about important life issues. I respected his work ethic and devotion to family. I miss him tremendously and will always keep him in my heart and on my mind. 
I pray for Gods comfort, peace, and warm embrace to Patricia and all his loved ones.
