Patricia Ann Lindsey Jackson was born July 14th, 1958, to Odell and Mary Lindsey and four adoring brothers in LaRue, Texas. She transitioned from this life to heaven on June 4th, 2023, in Tomball, Texas.
She joined Rockhill Baptist Church at the age of 8 and loved working in the church. As she grew in the church, she became Sunday school secretary, served as the chair and BYPU.
Patricia was involved in many organizations and activities from childhood all through her teenage years. At her local school, LaPoyner elementary campus as well as LaPoyner Secondary campus that serviced grades 2nd through 12th, Patricia sung in the choir for five years. Additionally, during 9th through 12th grade, she was an outstanding cheerleader, an elite basketball and softball player, and a skilled archer. Her spirit and presence enamored those around her for her to be chosen as Miss School Spirit.
Upon graduation from LaPoyner, Patricia attended Henderson County Junior College. While there, she worked hard and was honored to make the dean’s list, continued as a spirited competitive cheerleader and ultimately graduated receiving her associate degree. Apart from this, the most significant part of her journey, was that she met the love of her life Clifford Jackson, Jr.
On the glorious day of April 14th, 1980, she was joined in holy matrimony with Clifford Jackson, Jr. From this wonderful union under God, two beautiful intelligent sons were born. Trymain Marquis Jackson and Clifford Jackson III.
Patricia’s life after college was filled with Love, Family, Friends, Community, and above all God. She was a dedicated member of Living Word Fellowship Church in Houston, Texas, pastored by Dr. Paul Cannings. She served in the women and marriage ministries and was a true sister in Christ to give her ear and time to any in need. As a wife, Patricia supported and loved her husband. She made wherever they stayed a HOME, letting her husband lead her, yet being his partner in every aspect of life. God blessed them with children. As a mother, there was nothing she wouldn’t do for her children. She, along with her husband, worked tirelessly to provide a healthy life and education for her two sons to have the opportunity to be the best that they could be. Patricia was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren that were the key to her heart for the remainder of her life. She was a nurse, a professional Chef, a stylist, a hairdresser, a party planner, a chauffeur, the best gift giver, the best hugger, and a beloved grandmother to her babies. As a sister, she was the bridge between her older brothers and her younger sisters. As the oldest girl, she was treasured by her elder brothers, being tough, athletic and strong was imperative to hangout with them. As for her vibrant sisters they relied on her, looked up to her and could always count on their big sister for any and everything.
Her passions did not limit themselves there, as she was a huge Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, and Los Angeles Lakers fan.
Patricia was proud of where she came from and who she came from, lineage was very important to her. It was her desire to recognize her parents Odell and Mary Lindsey, as well as their parents. Dora and Andy Lindsey (Odell) and Theodore and Annie Bell Alexander (Madea).
She is preceded in death by her father, Odell Lindsey; mother, Mary L. Lindsey; brother, Andrew L. Lindsey; sister-in-law, Gracia Lindsey; Mother-in-law, Eva M. Jackson.
