Pablo Ramirez

Pablo Ramirez, 89 entered eternal rest June 7, 2021 in Houston, Texas. He was born January 25, 1932 in Cd. Acuña Coahuila, Mexico. He married the love of his life, Maria Teresa Martinez on July 7, 1962. Pablo worked as a salesman for the Grolier Encyclopedia. In 1965, he was part of the construction of La Presa Amistad in Acuña. He migrated his family to Houston, Texas in 1977 and began working as a delivery driver for the ice company, Igloo. Later Pablo worked for the City of Houston Water Division for over 20 years before retiring. He attended and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He had a passion for playing his guitar and singing. Pablo will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Pablo is survived by his loving wife: Maria Teresa Martinez; children: Rosy Salazar & husband Eleazar, Paul Ramirez & wife June, Edward Ramirez & wife Martha, Alma Dempsey & husband Eugene, Lucy Garcia & husband Jose, Claudia Ramirez & husband Alexis, Rita Salazar & husband Luis; grandchildren: Jermaine Salazar & wife Nedi, Celeste Ruiz De Chavez & husband Joe, Edward Ramirez, Jr. & wife Melissa, Carrie Ramirez & husband Basni, Sara Ramirez & Kobi Jones, Crystal Dempsey & husband Leo, Melissa Dempsey, Rebecca Leonard & husband Brown, Urban Garcia & wife Jasmine, Ulissa Garcia, Jose Garcia, Paul Garcia, Octavio Alvarado & wife Lizet, Selena Alvarado & husband Joshua, Savannah Garcia & husband Juan, Sophia Alvarado, Lex Salazar, Aiden Salazar; great grandchildren: Noah Salazar, Nicolas Salazar, Noemi Ruiz De Chavez, Lillian Ruiz De Chavez, Delilah Ramirez, Adrian Ramirez, Avery Garcia, Lizzy Barajas, Alexis Garcia, Urban Garcia, Jr., Uliana Garcia, Joshua San Miguel, Jr., Maximus San Miguel, Marcos Rodriguez, Alexander Garcia, Roman Garcia, Ava Garcia; cousin (childhood sister): Juanita Nava.

Visitation for family and friends will begin on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 6pm-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 beginning at 9:30am with the interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
