Oliver Coleman, 86, died of natural causes January 10,2022 at West Houston Methodist Hospital. He was born in White Castle, La. on January 17, 1935 to the late Louis Coleman Jr. and Leona Sullivan-Coleman. He attended St. Luke Methodist Church in White Castle, La.
Oliver had nine siblings, two sisters and one brother deceased (Shirley Williams, Mary Lee Adams and Carl L. Coleman). He leaves to mourn two sisters; Annie Mae Ashley in Houston, TX and Joyce Hickman in Alexandria, LA. Four brothers; Onadel Howard, James Coleman, Winston Coleman all of Houston, TX., Vernon Lewis in Chicago, IL.
He moved to New Orleans, LA. as a young child. While living in New Orleans, he was the Owner of ENT Parking Lot. He was a VIP Services Representative at Bally’s and Starr Casino. Oliver married Gloria Coleman at a young age and later divorced.
He was blessed to have nine biological children in which he raised several others as his own.

Union with Isabell Miller: Gwendolyn Smith, Joerene Williams, Glenn Miller, Leona Ellis (Stephen), Sheryl Miller,all of New Orleans, LA, Linda Miller(Houston,TX).
Union with Cheryl McCoy: Oliver Coleman III (Aisha), Tamika McCoy, Nafessa McCoy, Terrence McCoy all of Houston, TX. He had 38 grandchildren, 59+ great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He resided in Houston, TX. 2005 after Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, LA where he worked at Houston Harris Security in Houston, TX until he later retired. He spent his later years humble and surrounded with care and love. Rest well.
