Norman Jones

Norman Ray Jones was born October 29, 1947 in Houston, Texas to Charles D. Jones and Mildred Vivian Jones. Born of that union was Evelyn Jones, Gloria Wolridge, Charles O. Jones, Christine Hygh, and Arthur Jones.

Norman joined the U.S. Air Force where he served two tours in Viet Nam, Thailand. After his tours in Viet Nam, Norman was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in California. Norman often visited Bakersfield, California where he met Patricia Ann Smith. They were married and to this union were born two children, Shilae M. Jones, and Demond K. Jones.

Norman was baptized into our Lord Jesus Christ in 1991 and he was a faithful and compassionate Christian and father. Norman was an example and inspiration to all who knew him.

Norman leaves behind his wife, Patricia in Missouri City, daughter, Shilae in Missour City, and son Demond and his wife Tuana in Iowa Colony, granddaughters, Amber Ellis, Brea McCray, and Chermond Adams, grandson Jalon Adams, and one great granddaughter, Hailei Adams. Norman also leaves behind one sister, Christine Hygh, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Norman will be deeply missed, but never forgotten by all who knew and loved him.
