Nona is survived by her son Larry Shupe.
Nona was preceded in death by; father Albert George and mother Mabel George; brother Albert George; brother Fred George and sister Evelyn Cox.
Nona was a naval nurse during the Korean War and was stationed in San Diego, CA and also in Corpus Christi, TX.
A visitation for Nona will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM with the burial to follow in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
