Nellie Mae Willis Connell, born in Oakdale, La. on July 21, 1932, passed from us in to the hands of our Lord on November 6, 2015. Preceding her in death are her husband, Robert J. Connell; daughter, Brenda L. Broday; son, Ron D. Slockett; grandchildren, John F. Volking IV, Melanie Volking, Zachary Volking. Surviving children; Virginia K. Friedl and husband Ernest, Linda A. Bolyard and husband Charles; Michael D. Slockett and wife Cindy.Surviving Grandchildren: C. Michael Bolyard, Lisa M. Solomon, Jill Vance, Christina D. Kern, Angela Slockett, Ron Slockett, Jr., Danielle Slockett, Jordan Slockett and 16 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. Surviving Siblings: Edna F. Vizena, George Vizena, and Nell Vizena and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
