Nassan Nikko Stavrou-Davis

Nassan, known as Nikko to many of those who knew and loved him, was born in Sugar Land, TX. He was a bright and shining light who was passionate about his family, basketball, his swag and sneakers.

First and foremost, Nikko had a deep and abiding love for his family. He particularly enjoyed their family cruises, the time spent with his loved ones on culinary adventures (and all the waitresses who flirted with him since he was very small) and was a fierce protector of his sisters.

Nassan could often be found riding his bike to the basketball courts and had hoop dreams, if not the height to achieve them. He was a huge fan of Marvel movies, Star Wars, The Mandalorian and documentaries, and enjoyed going to the movies with his father.

He prided himself on looking good, smelling good and presenting himself at his best and finest. He was funny, spirited and always willing to lend a hand of support. Anyone who spent any time with him would hear him say “I got you” and know he meant it.

Nikko’s infectious smile, charm and gentle wit were quickly apparent to everyone he met. He had an adventurous spirit and after graduation from Alief Taylor High School in June, he planned to enter the Air Force and specialize in security.

He is survived by his mother Kyra Harris (Stacy); his father Nathaniel Davis (Kimberly); his sisters Larissa Stavrou-Mozon, Mekenzie Harrell and Omari Harris; his brothers Nathaniel Davis, Jr., Jacob Davis and Stacy “Trey” Harris, III; his grandmothers Linda Carde and Jacqueline Davis; his grandfather Demetrio Stavrou; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service for Nassan will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM, followed by a reception at 11:00 AM.
