Nancy was born on June 4, 1934 to Helen and Raymund Neely in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. She attended Catholic High School and was a member of the JAC Juniorette Club and Cheerleeder of the Pep Club. She was the featured cover girl of the week on the cover of the Oklahoma City “This Week” magazine.
Nancy worked as an executive assistant at Coca Cola for over 40 years until her retirement. She was an avid dog lover and a heck of a bridge player. She was hysterically funny, gobs of fun, so very kind and loving, and quite the snappy dresser. She was the most wonderful Mother and friend to many.
Nancy loved to swim, sing, dance and played classical and popular music on the piano and enjoyed time with her family more than anything. There were many a family gathering and sing alongs around the piano and she absolutely adored visits from her only grandchild, Kevin. Together they formed a very strong bond and he was the joy of her life.
She is survived by her loving daughter Patsy Chapman and her husband Scott, her beloved grandson, Kevin Boyer and his wife Corinne, many cousins, and her nieces and nephews, Linda Hus, Peggy and Frank Acosta, Karen and Larry Lindner, Gary and Debbie Hus and Pat Hus.
She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Helen and Ray Neely, her sister Doris Ann Hus, her brother Bill Neely, and her son Mike Nulik.
A celebration of life will on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 2:00 pm in The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston Texas 77024 with a light reception to follow immediately in the Event Room.
