Nancy E. Carrell

She is survived by her daughter Linda Riley and husband Roy Riley; sons: Ronald Hicks and wife Kandy, James Hicks and wife Vicky, Clifford Hicks and wife Sharon; daughter Angela Long; grandchildren: Pamela Hurley and husband Evan, Teresa Frederick and husband James, Chris Hicks and wife Holly, Travis Hicks and wife Cari, Shawna Hicks, Christy Boseman, Mary Rachel Fenrick and husband Andrew, Tim Hicks, Josh Long and wife TaLisa, Robyn Cloyes and husband Kyle; great-grandchildren Ashlynn Hurley, Jon Hurley, Danielle Hurley, Randy Hurley, Lauren Hurley, A. J. Frederick, Andrew Frederick, Piper Fenrick, Caroline Fenrick; sisters and brothers: Ethel Clippard, Benny Hon, Doyle Hon, Gene Hon, John Hon, Viola Loetscher, Leona Rea, Mary Walsh; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, brothers and sisters-in-Christ at New Caney Baptist Church where she attended.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Theodore Hicks, parents James and Myrtle Hon, sister Margie Lee Hon, brothers Virgil Hon and Ralph Hon, and later in life by husband B. L. Carrell.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, nana, and friend who enjoyed travel, painting, and the beauty of God’s creation.

Her biggest joy in life was having her family around her and helping others.
