Minnie Williams, age 94, of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday March 19, 2018. Minnie was born May 11, 1923. Minnie, also known to everyone as “Nanny” was a wonderful cook, gardener and loved the out doors. Nanny also read the newspaper front to back everyday of her life that I remember until she got sick in January. If the paper didn't get delivered when she got up she was on the phone calling them asking where in the hell was her newspaper.
Minnie is survived by; daughter Dianna Diehl and husband Emanuel; grandson Shannon Diehl, granddaughter Marianne Lynn Caldwell and husband Chadwick Ryan Caldwell and great grandson Austin Ryan Caldwell.
Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Williams and twelve siblings.
A visitation for Minnie will be held Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary service starting at 6:00 PM, at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be Friday, March 23, 2018 starting 10:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo, 501 Tidwell Road, Houston, TX 77022. A committal service will be Friday, March 23, 2018 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
Serving as pallbearers are Timothy Diehl, Manfred Diehl, Sherwin Diehl, Jeff Diehl, Alvin Gold, Bob Gold, Brian Diehl, Randy Diehl and J.L. Gold.
