Milton Murry Pate, age 89, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on February 12, 2021. He was born in Oakwood, Texas and is preceded in death by his parents William Edward and Evie Elizabeth Pate and brother Thomas Earl Pate.
He was known by many as "Baby Brother." He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Mildred Joyce Pate; 4 children: Cindy Roberts, Glenda Marchese (Husband David), Joey Pate, and Lisa Reynolds (Husband Ronald); 7 grandchildren: Andy Bouchillion, Daniel Marchese, Nicholas Haley, Stephen Marchese, Adam Haley, Jacob Reynolds and Jordan Reynolds along with numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
He joined the Us Navy in 1948 and proudly served our country aboard the USS Chevalier in the Korean War and later attended the University of Houston.
Milton devoted his professional career to the Communication Industry. He founded MP Instrument CO with his wife in 1962. MP Instrument CO still proudly serves the Communication Industry.
Milton suffered with Parkinson's Disease for many years. Though his health continually declined, he never once complained and his perseverance never waned.
A Visitation for Milton will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The Funeral service will follow at 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, and Committal Service immediately after at Brookside Memorial Park.
