Mildred Allen Archibald was born July 18, 1923 in Mart, Texas, the last survivor of 10 siblings, went to be with her Lord on December 7, 2014. Mildred loved gardening and dancing to country music. She loved to talk, and quoted scriptures daily. Meticulous in her housekeeping, there was never even one crease in her bed linens. Even at the last, though unable to speak in complete sentences, she would be able to say, "Praise the Lord" as she raised her hands in praise. Mildred is survived by two sons, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039; Visitation Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 5-8p.m.; Funeral Service Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 10 :00
