Michael Leo Murray

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Brookside Funeral Home in Houston, TX. Service will be led by Pastor Robert Stokes, with Magnolia Cowboy Church. Michael wished to be cremated.

Michael was born on January30, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to Luther and Florabelle Murray. He graduated from Denby High School in Detroit, Michigan with the class in June 1968. Michael married his high school sweet-heart Pamela Rae Terrill on February 7, 1969 and they had 3 children together. Michael and Pamela divorced in October of 1994 and Michael remarried Brandi Rulo February 29, 2000. Michael and Brandi also had 3 children.

Michael spent most of his career working for Carrier Air Conditioning where he started out of high school in the warehouse and worked his way up to Sales Manager. He was immensely proud of his accomplishments. He moved his family from Michigan to Florida in 1986. In 1990 he earned a promotion that moved the family to Houston, Texas. It was in Houston that he was able to purchase his first new home. This was an exciting time for the family.

Michael was preceded by his parents Luther and Florabelle Murray along with his two brothers Larry and Don Murray.

Michael is survived by his 6 children: Alisa Maywald and husband Butch Maywald, Michael Murray and wife Patricia Murray, Gregory Murray, Abbigail Murray, Emily Murray and Nathanial Murray.

Along with his grandchildren Luke Campbell, Avery, Colton and Kinley Maywald, Paige, Payton and Pamela Murray and Alexandra, Madilyn and Ethan Murray.

The family of Michael Murray wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all our friends and family that have been praying for our dad. We would also like to thank the staff at Magnolia Cowboy Church for their love, support and service.
