Michael McCauley, age 69, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Michael was born August 1, 1952 in Ville Platte Louisiana. He graduated high school and worked as a welder and machinist. Michael attended St. Bernadette Catholic Church, had a passion for fishing, hunting, building things, bird watching, and was a dog lover.
Michael is preceded in death by his late wife Karen McCauley; parents Aline Fontenot McCauley, Elton McCauley; brothers Rayburn McCauley, Ermon McCauley, Kurney McCauley.
He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Paula Thibodeaux; son Stephen Magnes and wife Kaitlyn; grandchildren Hollie Grace Magnes; brother Ervin McCauley.
Serving as pallbearers are Stephen Magnes, Danny McCauley, Sam McClain, Kenny McCauley, Michael Simpson, Mark McMath SR, Richard McCauley, and Gus Florent. Serving, as honorary pallbearers are Ervin McCauley, Henry Kalokowski, Mike Simpson, and Kip McCauley.
A visitation for Michael will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A burial will occur Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
