Michael Day Krause

Michael enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and fishing. His true passion was passing on his knowledge of the outdoors to his children and grandchildren. He found true enjoyment and peace while spending time with friends and family. If you had a spare 5 minutes to chat with Michael it would quickly turn into an hour without ever knowing it.

Michael was preceded in death by his Mother Monica Krause; Brother Samuel Krause; and his dog Samie. Surviving family members include his son Matthew Krause and wife Jessica and grandchildren Harper and Easton. His daughter Melissa Mansker and husband Eric. His Father Clarence Krause and siblings Monique Krause and Darrell Krause

A visitation for Michael will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Pat H. Foley & Company, 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, TX 77018, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

In memory of our father’s love, stewardship and passion for conservation and his enjoyment of our involvement with the outdoors, donations can be made to the Texas Brigades in memory of him. Donation Designation: Student Tuition.
