Michael K. Ethredge of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024, at the age of 28. He was the cherished son of parents James and Elizabeth Ethredge of Hockley, a loving brother to Matthew, brother-in-law to Shelby, uncle to Jack, and pet-dad to his dearest companion Monte.
He graduated from HCCS in May with his AAS in hospitality management, a field where he enjoyed life to its fullest. He planned to embark on a new journey in event sales to bring great times and memories to everyone.
He will be remembered most for his ability to be compassionate, understanding, and loving to all people. His infectious personality and love of life were his trademark, Midtown. Many have been touched by his wit, laugh, and energy.
Michael will live on in all those who loved him. His tenacity and determination will give strength to all who met him. His do-it-all, do-it-large attitude is his legacy.
A private service will be held to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to Legacy Community Health Montrose Clinic, a cause he believed in strongly.
