Michael Denton, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021. He was 47 years old. A true inspiration to others, Michael was born Michael Carroll Denton on September 2, 1973 in Houston, Texas, to Carolyn and Johnny Denton.
Michael was dealt several hardships with his health at a young age, but he always exceeded life’s expectations. He never missed an opportunity to laugh or to bring laughter to others. Michael inspired his family and friends to enjoy life as much as possible.
Michael is mourned by his loving mother, Carolyn Denton, along with his three sisters: Cynthia Lewis, Renda Spearman, and Janice Swearingen. As well as his brother Johnny Denton. Michael also has many nieces and nephews that will always remember him. One of which, Brittany Pierce, has preceded him in death. We know that she was first in line to welcome him home, along with his father, Johnny Denton.
Michael passed surrounded by his family, just as he enjoyed such moments with them during every holiday.
A visitation will be held Sunday, March 28th, 2021 at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039, from 6pm to 9pm. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 29, 2021 at the same location at 10am. He will be dearly missed by all.
