Meredith Ann (Bergeron)Tyer, lovingly known as Mo Mo passed away peacefully on December 31, 2020 comfortably in her home. Born on November 28, 1933 to Rufus and Ernie Bergeron in Baytown Texas. Meredith was the youngest of 3 children and Mo Mo to eight grandchildren, and two great grandsons.
Meredith is survived by her three children, her son, Kenneth Karl Tyer Jr., and his wife, Terrye Lee Tyer with two of her grandchildren; Kennedy who is married to Jodi Elizabeth, and Kaylee June, who is married to Zachary Seth Springer, and her second great grandson Elias Kennedy; her daughter, Susan Marie Rosemond, and grandson Nathan Daniel who is married to Dalila and her first great grandson Dillon; her daughter, Wendy Ann Miranda and her husband Frank Xavier with two of her grandchildren; Josh Xavier and Carly Catherine.
Meredith was preceded in death by her daughter Cendy, who sadly died after birth on January 21, 1960, her mother, Ernie, her father Rufus, her sister Connie, and her brother Bevely.
Meredith was a wonderful wife, mother and Mo Mo, and served others throughout her life. She and her ex-husband Ken were married twice and divorced twice, but despite this, provided a wonderful home for their children in North Shore a subdivision of Houston.
After graduation from Robert E. Lee Senior High School, Meredith married, and lovingly served her family has a mother, secretary for MacCormicK Steel, legal secretary for Zapata Oil, realtor for Charly Manross, and general contractor for Jim Lindsey Homes. In her later years she was struck with Multiple Sclerosis, and battled the disease with a conqueror’s spirit.
The world is a lesser place now without Mo Mo she was truly a generous person, and she will be desperately missed. She longed to be surrounded by her family in heaven, and family and friends take great comfort knowing that she is finally in her glorified Christ body, and truly home.
