Maurice S. Malinowski-Dunn, 85, of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 30, 2022. She was born in Old Prospect Community in Rusk County, Texas on November 23, 1936. Maurice was the fifth sibling of ten children in the Seelbach family.
Maurice was a career secretary having worked for Falstaff Distributing and Southwestern Bell/AT&T. She was a long-standing member of SPJST Lodge 142 with her husband Holland. Maurice also enjoyed helping with AT&T Pioneers Volunteer Network that included the “Bears and Christmas Tree” groups. She enjoyed yard work, gardening, cooking, playing cards and yearly travel trips with her sisters. She enjoyed spending time with family especially her sisters Sue and Helen along with her nephew John. But above all else her Passion was….“SHE LOVED HELPING OTHER PEOPLE” For the last eight months Maurice has been in assisted living with her sister Helen and this is what her caregivers had to say about her.

She is survived by her second husband, Holland F. Dunn of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Sue Sullivan, Helen Skinner, and Carolyn Seelbach of Nacogdoches,Texas; one brother, Don Seelbach of Lufkin,Texas; “A Special Nephew” John A. Whatley of Houston, Texas and multiple nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Malinowski. Parents Elmer and Anna Seelbach. Siblings: Billie Poteet, John Seelbach, Bettie Whatley, Charles Seelbach and Dean Seelbach.
The family wants to give special thanks to her Caregivers for all their love and support of Maurice.

A visitation for Maurice will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will follow and begin promptly at 1:00 PM, followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
