Mary Catherine Morgan, 98, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, was received into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ October 14, 2011. She was born in Nacogdoches, Texas to Jesse and Julia Elizabeth Williford. Mary graduated with an Asssociated Degree from Central Chrstian College, McPherson, Kansas, and, after marrying, lived in the greater Houston area most of her life where she raised her family. She was a committed Christian who spent her entire life giving of herself in serving others to the glory of Jesus. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her and were blessed by her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon J. Morgan, and is survived by her children, Richard Morgan, Joe Morgan and Sharon Stemen, and by grandchildren Christopher Stemen, Lenzy Morgan, Keith Morgan and Mathew Stemen. Visitation will be Monday, October 17, 2011 at Earthman Resthaven. Mary’s Celebration of Life will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2011 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
