Mary Nell Good

Mary Nell Good, 89, died on May 31, 2015. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on September 19, 1925, the daughter of Fred Stanley Chittenden and Artell Driskill Chittenden. The family later moved to South Houston, and Mary graduated from Pasadena High School. She married E. Boyce Good, her husband of 64 years, and was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Mary was a faithful member of Bethel Independent Presbyterian Church for many years, and she was an avid golfer, angler, and artist.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Claire Marie Chittenden, sister Annie Mae Washmon, and husband Boyce. She is survived by her son, Michael Boyce Good; sister-in-law Virginia Queen Good; nieces and nephews Rebecca Washmon Neel, Stanley Keith Washmon, Daryl Blake Good, Deborah Good Johnson, Katherine Good Weatherspoon, Donna Good Grogg, and Denise Good Weaver; and their families. A graveside service will be held at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX, at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015.
