Mary Dolores Martinez

She was preceded in death by her father Aurelio Martinez, her son Ruben Nuncio, and her sister Gloria Campos.

She attended and graduated from Austin High School. While living in Houston, Texas, Mary was a devoted housewife and cared for her children. She was always surrounded by her family. She loved the company of being with them; she loved all her Grandchildren. All 15 of them and her 2 Great Granddaughters.

She was a proud Houston native who loved to watch her Houston Astros, Houston Texans and Houston Rockets games. Known for her signature Red lips she loved getting dolled up. She was an amazing woman, an amazing mother, partner, grandmother, sister, Aunt and most importantly a friend.

Mary is survived by her 4 children: her daughters Marisa Rodriguez and Kristol Moreno, her sons Ruben and Erick Nuncio, and her spouse of 30+ years Javier Rodriguez; her sisters: Lisa Sorola and Carolyn Gonzalvez; and her 10 nephews, 2 nieces.

A visitation for Mary Dolores will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral services will occur Monday, November 21, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023 with the burial immediately following .
