Martha Ochoa

She was born on December 21, 1951 in Houston to the late Joe and Modesta Rojas. She was the oldest of five children and was married to Lorenzo Ochoa for nearly 50 years.

Martha Ochoa had a long successful career in the restaurant industry, operating a number of restaurants along with her husband and co-owning their own restaurant for 33 years.

Martha had a passion for cooking, baking and giving to others, but her greatest love was caring for her family and doing for those less fortunate. She was a compassionate spirit; one of the kindest and most loving people. She was a devoted Catholic and a true servant to God.

She is survived by her six daughters; Elizabeth Lozano, Rita Robles, Lorraine Ochoa, Patricia Garcia, Doreen Alderete and Jessica Ochoa, 19 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother Joe Rojas and sisters; Gloria Harrison and Terry Nunez.

Funeral services will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 5, 2020. The family will receive friends and family at a vigil and rosary from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2020.
