Martha Rose Klodzinski, 100, of Houston, Texas entered eternal rest on December 20, 2024. She was born on September 20, 1924 to parents Walter and Pearl Yargo and raised in Anderson, Texas. She was married for 59 years to her loving husband Teofil "Tops" Klodzinski who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son Dennis Klodzinski and wife Debbie, son Ralph Klodzinski and wife Susan, daughter Susan Habegger, daughter Donna Holak and husband Daniel, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Many of her blessings called her Meme and Meme Rose. Her nieces and nephews knew her as Aunt Martha or Aunt Molly.
She loved being outside when she was a young girl. One of her chores was gathering eggs, but her favorite chore was rounding up the cattle with the help of her horse, Smokey, which she rode bareback. She learned to drive at a young age using her family's Model A.
She made the best homemade jellies, bread and butter and dill pickles, as well as apple cake. Her most requested item was her infamous lemon meringue pie.
The family is very grateful for the caregivers from Unlimited Care Cottages and Bayou City Hospice for their compassionate care.
She will be dearly missed by all those who shared many wonderful memories with her.
Pallbearers are Brian Ash, John Clark, Ryan Holak, Ralph Klodzinski, Raymond Klodzinski and Braxton Wilson.
A visitation for Martha will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Roselane St, Houston, TX 77037. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 901 Roselane St, Houston, TX 77037. A graveside service will occur Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
