Mario Garza Treviño, 85, of Houston Texas, passed away on March 21, 2023, after his battle with Cancer. He was comfortable at the time of his passing in his home surrounded by his wife, his surviving children, and loving grandchildren.
Mario was born on September 15, 1937, to Alfredo and Manuelita in Miguel Aleman, Tamp, Mexico. Mario traveled to the United States as a young adult to work in several large cities; Houston, California, Chicago, etc. and ultimately landed with Rawson Koenig up into retirement. He was a man of many trades and abilities.
In 1966, Mario married his surviving wife Delia in February as they recently celebrated their fifty-seventh anniversary. Mario and Delia went on to have six children, Mario Jr, Marisa, Gabriel, and David Treviño. Mario was predeceased by two of his children, Anita, and Albert Treviño.
Mario spent fifteen plus years living the retired life alongside his wife Delia. They celebrated many anniversaries, birthdays, and holidays with their loved ones. He enjoyed keeping busy in and around their home from building tables, to repair work, to picking mandarins from their tree, to growing a small vegetable garden that lasted for one season.
