Mario was a retired Club Owner and Entrepreneur. He spent his retirement years in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. He was a talented guitar and saxophone player who enjoyed music. He had many passions in life which included fishing and spending quality time with his family.
Mario is preceded in death by his father, Joe DeAnda, Sr. and brother, Joseph Sauceda.
He is survived by children, Ruth Gutierrez, Kristina Martinez, Jeanette Beltran, Mario H. DeAnda, II, Martin DeAnda, Matthew DeAnda, Maximus DeAnda, and Manny DeAnda;17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Joe DeAnda, Jr., Liza DeAnda Garcia, Ben DeAnda, Dean DeAnda, Manuel DeAnda, and Christopher DeAnda.
Serving as pallbearers are Mario H. DeAnda, II, Matthew DeAnda, Maximus DeAnda, Manny DeAnda, Mario H. DeAnda, III, Felix Hernandez, Ben DeAnda and Joe DeAnda, Jr.
A visitation for Mario will be held Monday, November 18, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Grand Oak Chapel at Brookside with interment to follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
