Maria Minerba Monsivaiz

Maria Minerba Monsivaiz, age 63, passed peacefully from this earth into an eternal rest on November 17, 2017. She is survived by her husband Francisco and four children Jose, Minerva, Teresa, Elizabeth and her brother Ciro and sister Carlotta. She leaves a legacy behind her through her grandchildren Alejandro, Hugo, Nyla, Dyna, Rosalba, Daisy, Joe, Andrew, Valentino, Anthony, Joanna, Vincent and one great grandchild Galeia. Maria was born in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Belsabeth Garza and Isidro Monsivaiz. Maria was known to live life to the fullest, the way she always wanted to. She worked hard throughout her whole life and always sacrificed for the love of her family. Like everyone, she also went through the hardships and obstacles of life. Maria's personality was bold and outgoing, she always inspired her family that hardship should never deter happiness. Maria is remembered as a sweet sister, a noble friend, an unbreakable mother, a kind grandmother, and a beautiful wife. May she rest in peace in the embrace of her mother, father and brother.

A visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home Chapel, 7010 Chetwood, Houston, TX 77081 with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will occur Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 10:00 AM, Advantage Funeral Home Chapel followed by the committal service at 12:00 PM at Houston Memorial Gardens, 2426 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581.
