Maria De Jesus Gonzalez

Tita was born to Loreto and Flor Villarreal, September 01, 1936, in Higueras, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She was married to Agapito for 54 years, and they lived together in Houston, Texas, where they raised their children (Lorena and Jr). She worked at Hearn Lithographing Company for many years. In her free time, she always loved to work in her garden, watch telenovelas, do word search puzzles and loved spending time with her family.

Tita is survived by her beloved husband Agapito Gonzalez, daughter Lorena Sauceda and husband Tony, son Agapito Gonzalez Jr and wife Karla, grandchildren Vanessa Sauceda, Xavier Sauceda, Jay Gonzalez, Vivonny Gonzalez, and Nazeiby Gonzalez. She also leaves to cherish her memory to her Brother Juan Francisco Villarreal, nieces, nephews, family members and dear friends. She preceded in death by her parents Loreto and Flor Villarreal, brothers Jose de los Angeles, Fernando, Lupito, sister Hermida.

The Family invites all family and friends to a celebration of life for Tita. Visitation will be Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A rosary will occur Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral mass will occur Monday, October 9, 2023, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7250 Harrisburg Blvd, Houston, TX 77011. A committal will occur Monday, October 9, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
