Maria Guadalupe Garcia, 56, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in Houston, Texas. She was born September 17, 1961 in Houston, Texas to Arturo and Ester Arguelles Garcia. She was preceded in death by her father, Arturo Garcia. Maria is survived by her loving and devoted son, Gilberto Alejandro Garcia; her mother Ester Garcia; siblings, Daniel Garcia and his wife Lucia, Maria E. Nelson and her husband Bruce, Amada Davila and her husband Saul and Arturo Garcia, Jr., her nieces, Nadia Davila, Diana Campos, Iris Garcia, Ivette Garcia and Lilly Garcia. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5-9 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 PM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 4015 Sherman Street Houston, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
