MARIA ANITA FLORES, of Houston went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, September 18, 2016. She was born to the late Felix Castillo and Anita Avila on April 21, 1928. Maria “Annie” was a member of St. Phillip of Jesus Catholic Church. She was a very strong and loving person who always put her family first. Her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister precede Maria in death. Maria is also preceded by her loving husband, Raymond, of 64 years. She is survived by her children, Carmen Trevino and late husband Tony, Stephen Flores and wife Laura, Michael Flores and wife Ida, Elizabeth Flores and Felix Flores; sister, Dolores Lo Casto, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale with the rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass of resurrection will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
