Margie Ann Elliott Maxwell, 97, passed away October 26, 2020 in Humble, Texas surrounded by loved ones. Margie was born in Davilla, Texas on July 10, 1923 to Charles and Mabel Elliott. She was a devoted wife and mother. As a housewife she still found time to be a Girl Scout Leader, volunteered at Heights Hospital, and she was known for taking the kids and their friends to football games, the show or wherever they wanted to go. She enjoyed playing dominos and going to the Senior Center at James Driver Park. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Humble, Texas.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Elliott and Mabel Yarborough and her loving husband, George Maxwell. Left to cherish her memory, her three caring children: David Maxwell, of Humble, Texas, Shirley Pace of Houston, Texas and Judy Maxwell and Danny Quigley of Centerville, Texas; 4 loving grandchildren: Angie Maxwell of Houston, Texas, Misty and Craig Kettler of Alvin, Texas, Amanda and Ira Coveler of Klein, Texas, Alexander and Meghan Pace of Leander, Texas; 5 precious great grandchildren, Veranda Colbert, Cody Kettler, Marissa Coveler, Gracey Kettler, Jake Coveler.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039. Graveside service will be held at Rosewood Cemetery, 2602 S. Houston Ave. Humble, Texas 77396 on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 1 p.m.
