Margaret was such a kind and friendly person to work with at the Charity Guild.  What a beautiful photo tribute to her active life and loving family!  May your Faith and those special memories of times shared with Margaret always bring peace and comfort into each of your hearts.

When God made Margaret Blanton, God made a wonderful lady. When we think of Margaret, we immediately see her big smile, and a warm, welcoming, open-hearted, animated greeting. The words Mother and Grandmother immediately come to mind. Margaret was a Mother six times over. Our Mothers are special and Margaret most certainly was special to all of her children and grandchildren. Margaret’s and Ed’s home was the gathering place for all the Blanton relations, most especially the grandchildren, which were all cousins. Their home was literally a revolving door for the grandchildren. There was an endless flow of get togethers, sleep overs, games, and merriments.  Like a cheerleader, Margaret was always in the middle of the festivities. How fortunate these cousins are to have shared priceless bonding for years together. Margaret’s extraordinary maternal passion produced all these dear souls. 

Margaret was a very giving person. She volunteered for decades at the Charity Guild of Catholic Women Consignment Shop. It is said people often stopped by the shop just to experience Margaret, and her gift for conversation. Margaret was a gifted communicator and her hands and arms were always gesturing as if she was conducting a symphony. She was fun. 

There is no way to express how dear and loved Margaret was to so many.

What a beautiful tribute  to a special woman who lived fully and clearly loved and cared for many! Blessings to sweet Margaret and all of her beloved ones who will carry her in their hearts for generations to come.   

My family and I met Margaret while on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 2019.

Looking at all your pictures tells me there are thousands of memories to last you a life time of stories to tell about your mom and dad. I was so blessed that Margaret and I crossed paths and shared many memories at the Charity Guild. She has left a gift of loving, sharing and doing things out of love that I will never forget. Dear Blanton Family,

We all know that Margaret was the "volunteer extraordinaire"!  She had enough energy and compassion and selflessness to say yes when  everyone else said no!  Evidently she was a "mom and grandmom extraordinaire" as well!  She didn't seem to do anything out of duty, but rather out of love.  God console you who mourn her most, and may you be most blessed.
