She had an uncanny ability to remember dates, and remembered not only her friends’ birthdays, but she remembered their children’s birthdays also with either a card or a phone call. She loved history as well as keeping up with current events. She read the Houston Post/Chronicle front to back. She also liked working the crossword puzzle in the TV guide. She loved all sports. She played tennis, golf and bowled. She loved watching baseball, golf and football. She was an avid fan of the Texas Aggies. In addition to sports, she loved music.
