Lori Lynn Guidry

Lori was born on July 1, 1977 in Houston Texas to Joseph and Connie Guidry. She attended Nimitz High School and graduated in May of 1995. During her three years Nimitz, Lori excelled in FFA projects, winning many awards raising her prized turkeys and pigs.

Lori became employed at Fisher Scientific in 1999 as a Customer Service Representative. She was also a scholarship student at Houston Baptist University, studying her favorite subject, Athletic Training. It was during this time, at 19 years of age, that Lori became extremely ill. After two years at HBU, Lori studied online as she worked toward graduation.

Lori had many hobbies . . . woodworking, painting, collecting beautiful hand carved crosses and above all preparing her wonderful recipes that her family loved. Lastly, her most favorite past time was her dearly beloved Sissy, who was always by her side.

Lori is survived by her mother, Connie Guidry. She is also survived by numerous Aunts and Uncles: Sandra and George McAdams, Peggy Guidry Anderson and Roger Anderson, Brenda Guidry Kinney and Glen Kinney, Kenny and Martha Guidry, and Debbie Guidry Connell.

Lori is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Guidry and grandparents Sidney and Mary Guidry and Sam and Ruth Pugh and aunt, Janice Manuel, Uncle, Harvey Evans and cousin, Teresa Kinney.

A committal service for Lori will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 12:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A visitation will occur Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
