Linda graduated from Aldine High School and was happily married to Carl R. Owens for 56 years.
Linda had a career working in the fields of Insurance, Geology and eased into retirement as a Court Reporter for the Social Security Administration.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Houston and had a passion for their annual Christmas "Celebration" Pageants. She loved performing as well as assisting with props.
She was survived by her daughter, Rebecca, son, Carl, and granddaughters, Riley and Elise.
The funeral arrangements will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. Visitation will begin at 10am, followed by a chapel service at 11am, and a graveside farewell at 12pm.
