Linda Rae Migl

Linda Rae Migl, age 59 passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021. Linda was born November 11, 1961, in Sidney, Nebraska. She grew up in Sidney, Nebraska and graduated from Sidney High School. She made many friends in high school and always talked about the good-ole-days. She attended the University of Nebraska and became a huge Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. She enjoyed many football games, as long as the Huskers won! She then moved to Austin, Texas where she met the love of her life on 6th street. She married Mitchell Migl on April 15, 1988. She settled down in Houston and then became a wonderful mother. Linda loved life, family, and her friends. She enjoyed being in her gorgeous backyard, gardening, and spending weekends at the family farm in Praha, Texas. She always made delicious meals for her family and all her daughter's friends. No one went hungry at "Migl Manor." She was a true light in everyone’s life and will be deeply missed.

Linda is survived by her husband Mitch Migl, daughter Kelsey Migl, her sister Lisa Koch and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents Del and Betty Koch and her brother Stewart Koch.

A visitation with family & friends for Linda will be held Friday, June 18, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.

A celebration of life will occur Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 10:00 AM, Memorial Oaks Funeral Home,13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX.

A committal service will occur Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 3:00 PM at St. Mary's Cemetery, 821 FM-1295, Flatonia, TX.
