Lester Edward Verow

Lester Verow, 75, of Simonton, Texas passed away peacefully Sunday, December 7, 2014. He was born November 14, 1939 on Verona Island, Maine, son of John and Geraldine Verow. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan Burchill Verow, and his son, Shawn Verow and wife Jennifer, his two grandchildren, Cole and Caralyn Verow. He was predeceased in death by his daughter Frances Verow. Lester is survived by his brother Ronald Verow of Rowley, MA, sisters, Geraldine Shaheen of Pittsburg, PA, Connie Irla of Port Huron, MI, Eleanor Doucet of Waterboro, ME, Ronald Verow of Rowley, MA, Barbara Gagas of Princeton, MA, Gloria Burchill of Leesburg, FL. Lester's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Mohammed Attar, Dr. David Yao, Dr. Monisha Singh, Dr. Wesley Mayer, and all of the staff at Houston Methodist Hospital.

Those who knew Lester knew he was always the life of the party making everyone laugh. His witty sense of humor kept everyone on their feet. He enjoyed working outdoors and being with his family. Visitation will take place at Forest Park Westheimer 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston Texas 77077, on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 2pm-5pm. Funeral service will take place at Forest Park Westheimer on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 2pm with graveside to follow.
