Leo Wilson

Leo Wilson, born in Shelby County, Texas, November 15, 1919 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 12, 2010. He retired after working for Houston Belt & Terminal Railroad for 37 years. He is preceded in death by son, Michael Wilson; grandchildren: Terri and Sherri O’Neal and Kendy Kay Sims. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 69 years, Mary Ann Wilson; daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Les O’Neal and Linda and Ken Sims; grandchildren: Michael Sims (Allyson), Blakeley Wilson, Brooks Wilson (Shelly) and Allen O’Neal (Dana); great grandchildren: Meghan, Mikayla, Devin, and Kenna Sims, Cody and Caitlin Wilson and Hailey O’Neal; sisters, Estelle Utsey (Houston, TX) and Pauline Halpern (Tucson, AZ); sister-in-law, Martha Leach (Eucha, OK); along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 9:30- 10:45 am, Thursday, September 16, 2010 with a memorial service to follow at 11 am at Houston’s First Baptist Church-Morris Chapel: 7401 Katy Freeway. Pallbearers will be Michael Sims, Allen O’Neal, George Albritton, Jim Utsey, Ryan Guthrie, Walter Magee and honorary pallbearer, Devin Sims. Graveside Service will be at 2:30 pm in Brookside Memorial Park.
