He met and married the love of his life Virginia Angton on September 20, 1966 and to this union four children were born: Rodney, Burnish, Vera and Felicia.
Lawrence Hackett departed this earthly life on January 31, 2018 at Lyndon Baines Johnson Hospital in Houston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Henrietta Hackett and his only brother Alford Robert Willie Hackett aka “Son Hackett”.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Virginia Hackett. One son, Rodney Angton, three daughters, Burnish (Andre) Blackmon, Vera Hackett, and Felicia Hackett. One grandson, Mark Ames, two granddaughters, Ciara Raven and Tamela Jefferson, two great grandchildren. One sister, Charlene Baul and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
