LaVerne Lewis, born June 19, 1928 in Fredericksburg, Texas, passed away on June 3, 2024. LaVerne also known as Mama and Momo, loved to bake German Chocolate Cakes, Sand Tarts and Oatmeal Cookies for Family, Friends and the whole neighborhood. She loved purple, the Houston Astros, and Family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley L. Lewis, her son Robert Dean Lewis and her daughter Linda Jane Keller. She is survived by her children Carolyn Kelly, Wesley Lewis and wife Susan, Berry Lewis and wife Joni, Bradley Lewis and wife Becky and son-in-law Bill Keller. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and other family members.
The family will be receiving friends beginning at 10:00am Sunday, June 9, 2024 with a funeral service to begin at noon in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven and Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Terry Knier officiating.
