Kenneth Ken Oliver

Kenneth Robert Oliver, age 63, died peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones Sunday, August 10th. Born in Waco, Texas December 7th, 1950 to Eugene and Janie Oliver, he is survived by many, many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Robert Oliver. He leaves his wife of 17 years, Danice Oliver; daughter, Lauren Oliver; son, Michael Oliver and his wife, Rachel; grandchildren, Draven Oliver and Abigail Oliver; mother, Janie Oliver; brother, David Oliver; sister, Karen Kessinger and her husband Lee; nephew, Kevin Kessinger and his wife, Ashli; great-nephew, Aiden; nieces Krista Kessinger and Kelsey Kessinger and hundreds of friends around the world. Ken enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the Oil and Gas industry. The last 14 years he was Executive Alliance Manager for PVM with Cameron. His career spanned 30+ years and many, many countries around the world. He, Danice and Lauren were able to fulfill their shared passion of travel to various cities and countries over the years. He had many interests including music, golf, running, food and wine but his wife, Danice, and daughter Lauren were his passion. Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Thursday, August 14th from 5-8 p.m., services will be held at the same location at 1:00 p.m, Friday August 15th. There will be a celebration reception from 3-5 p.m. at Maggiano's Restaurant at 2019 Post Oak Blvd in Houston following the service.
