Kay helped train me with Janice at Ashland. She was such a cool lady. I remember she was heavy when I met her, then she went on the no whites diet and lost so much weight she looked like a different person. She had a lot of love in her heart, which she always shared.  So sorry for your loss. 

Kay and I work for many years side by side at Ashland Chemical. We kept in contact after we both went seperate ways after leaving Ashland. She was a dear friend and I will miss her. I will miss our phone calls catching up on our great grand kids activities.

Janice Walker 

Kay and I shared many meals together while she lived in Illinois.  One of my fondest memory is when we went to the movies together,  which we did often. As we were watching the movie  we could hear a storm brewing outside. It was a severe storm and it started raining inside the theater. We looked at each other started laughing. But continued watching our movie. We figured it wasn't raining on us so why would we leave.  She was a dear friend, and I'll miss her like crazy. Rest in peace my friend. 

My favorite memory of Ms. Kay as I call her is when we first met as neighbors in the same apartment complex. She greeted me with that smile  that could wash away any bad day and her soft spoken voice. From there we bonded as neighbors and friends. We looked out for one another all the time. And she loved tamales that I would share with her. She was always for right and didn't mind at all to speak up when she felt she was wronged. She was like a extended grand mother to me very easy to talk to and a good listener plus full of wisdom when she spoke to me  about anything I was going through. When it was time for me to move out of the complex we both teared up but vowed to keep in touch and we did just that. I will miss her so much as I did when I moved. I would always check on her when there was a power outage  are storm. She was a very strong and independent woman. She never gave up and would always try to keep on pushing even if she didn't feel her best. I will never ever forget Ms. Kay she was definitely a God sent friend to me and I feel that the lord especially place her there to be my neighbor who became my friend. I missed her when I moved and now I'll miss our phone calls we had. I could go on and on about her. I'll just say whoever had her on there life was very blessed to have known this precious women. And I definitely was blessed to have known her and her being a part of my life. She's going to be greatly missed by many. I extend  my  condolences to her family and I pray God comforts you with his peace and love God bless you  her family

Kay is predeceased by her son Alan and her father and mother, Edward and Maurine. Kay is survived by her 2 sisters, Ginny Rosen and Pat Baker, her daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Jim Deasy, Grandson, TJ Deasy and his wife Lindy of Moore, Oklahoma, great-granddaughter Sydney Deasy of Moore Oklahoma, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
