Kathryn R. Parrish, 85, born May 9, 1929 in Palestine, TX entered into eternal rest June 19, 2014. Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Parrish Sr.; father, James Floyd Rushing, mother, Rosalee Rushing; brothers: Clifton, James, Carol & Jesse; sisters: Louise, Jeanie & Shirley. Left to cherish her precious memories: daughter, Gail Wofford & husband Glenn; son, Gene Parrish & wife Frances; son-in-law, Bill Edwards; grandchildren: Tabitha Spriggs, Paul Parrish, Shelli Pierce, James Edwards, David Wofford; great grandchildren: Desiree Spriggs, Brittany Spriggs & Rebecka Spriggs; sisters: Martha Roebuck, Pearl Helms & Rebecca Sisco. Visitation will be Sunday, June 22nd from 5-8pm. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm, Monday, June 23rd in the Family Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
