Justin (Jud) Thompson passed away on May 30, 2010, at the age of 90. He was born in East Hampton, N.Y., in 1920. He graduated from Columbia University, N.Y.C., in 1942. Justin proudly served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy; attending officer’s training at Notre Dame, and serving in the Pacific theater in W.W.II. He had a thirty-six year career with Exxon Oil Company, and moved to Houston with his family in 1961.
Justin is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Doris; daughter Claire Thompson; sons Justin Thompson, Jr. and wife Sue, John Thompson and wife Christina; brother Andrew Thompson; grand-children Sarah, Dylan, and Ryland, Jay and wife Careen, Harry, Doris and husband Arjan; and great grand-children, Tiffany and Emily.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, 6-7-10, 10:00 am, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 10688 Shadow Wood Drive, Houston, TX.
