She became of member of First Baptist of Galena Park in 1989. She served as a Sunday School teacher, VBS volunteer and worked many years caring for the children of the congregation in the nursery.
She had a beautiful voice and played the piano. Mimi loved baking cookies and pies with her grandsons. God gave her a gift for listening and making you feel like you were the only person in the room. Always encouraging you to live “one day at a time. “
She read her bible daily and in her later years, on Sundays, she and Cliff would watch four church services.
She is resting now in the arms of her Savior, that she was so ready to see face to face.
