Julia Opal White

Opal will be greatly missed by her son, Jimmy White; grandchildren, Sherri Tynefield and husband Gale, Jimmy White and wife Tracey, Johnny White and wife Angie, Cristy Bacarisse and husband Jeff; great grandchildren, Andy Tynefield, Megan Jones, Haley White, Johnny White Jr., Alli White, Anna White, Taylor Bacarisse, Abby Bacarisse; great great-grandchildren, Ethan Tynefield, Rylan Tynefield, Emma Jones, Trypp White; sisters, Gladys Harris, Faye Shook and husband G.W. and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was a loving mother and was always delighted to see all her grandchildren. Her face would light up a room when her son was in her presence or just by talking about him. She loved to work in a garden and passed down that love and patience of working the perfect garden to her grandchildren. You could always find her in the kitchen, making up a batch of her famous monkey bread or her delicious carrot cake. She never let the boys leave without making them the “perfect” sandwich. She was very active in the Church and would share her love for the Lord with everyone.
