Judy Ann Davis-Trammell-Tallet

Judith Ann Davis Trammell-Tallet went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 26th 2021. She is survived by her husband, Greg Tallet, her first husband Robert Trammell and their daughter, Jennifer Trammell McRae. She passed peacefully from complications from a 27 month battle with breast cancer.

Judy was born on September 13th, 1955 to Joe and Maebelle Davis in Laredo, Texas. Judy has an older brother, David and younger sister, Cindy. Growing up in Fort Worth, Texas with her family, she attended Southwest High School where she became life-long friends with a group of girls whom she had just recently reconnected with at a yearly reunion. These girls were her true best friends for life.

As Judy matured, she attended Texas Wesleyan University to study Marketing Management. This degree gave her the opportunity and confidence to begin a long career in life and financial services. Shortly, she found her home at Allstate, where she went above and beyond to assist her clients with their financial goals for the future.

Judy’s career opportunities drove her to move to the Houston Metro Area, where she later became roommates with Cynthia Blackburn, who has been her friend in Christ for thirty plus years. Soon after meeting Cynthia, she and Robert met and started a family with their daughter, Jennifer. Judy and Robert would watch Jennifer perform at the high school football games on Fridays and they would attend First Baptist Church in Bellaire on Sundays.

While Jennifer attended college, Judy herself discovered a love for dance, particularly country western dance, and attended SSQQ. She shared this passion dancing with her husband, Greg, as well as her passion for Christ. The two of them formed many friendships with these two passions. Second Baptist became their home church.

Judy is very much loved by her family and friends. She is reunited with Joe, Maebelle, David, Cindy, and Jamie Davis and remembered by Jodie, Jeff, and Glenn Davis, Justin Hooper, Daniel and Deanna Gibbons, Robert and Jack Trammell, Ray Wilson, Jennifer Trammmell-McRae and Greg Tallet.
